In February of 1998, the Wooden Nickel expanded and opened a second restaurant in the heart of Sublimity, Oregon. One side of the facility offers a family dining area in a comfortable atmosphere. On the other side, a full service bar complete with Oregon Lottery games. The characteristics of the Silverton Nickel have carried over into the making of the Sublimity Nickel. It has the same relaxed home town atmosphere, along with excellent food at a great price.
Every Saturday night our Traeger Pellet Grills help us deliver our famous mouth watering Slow Smoked Prime Rib. Both Wooden Nickels offer 14 oz regular cut, or an 8 oz petite cut. Along with the tradition of offering Prime Rib, the Nickel has been hand-crafting smoked german and bratwurst sausages since 1999. We offer these sausages in a variety of our Nickel food specials and also offer them vacuum packed and ready to take home and enjoy. If some time has passed since your last visit or you've never been in, we have 26 NEW menu items for you to enjoy (yes, we have a HUGE menu!). Along with our traditional Rectangle Hamburgers, BBQ Boneless Pork Ribs, Prawn Yakisoba with Vegetables, Steaks and Jambalaya, we have added Southern Fried Catfish, Slow Smoked BBQ Beef Brisket, Slow Smoked Pulled Pork as a entree, or a Po Boy Sandwich. There is an all new Cross The Border section as well, offering Pulled Pork Burritos, Tostadas, Tacos and Chicken Enchiladas. If that's not enough we've completely eliminated trans fat from our menu, 21 of the 26 new items are healthy choice options. We've got the nutrition facts to prove it, just ask your server! Calories, Fat & Protein grams are listed for each healthy choice item and each item is marked on the menu with 'HC'. If you’re needing a meal in a hurry, the Nickel makes all of its orders “to go”, but if you have time, please come by and sit a spell. We welcome newcomers with great enthusiasm and we appreciate those of you who have been with us from day one. It’s your loyalty that has helped us continually improve upon our growing establishments. |
